Placement Services
Suburban Technical School maintains a Graduate Services Department that provides a placement service for graduates and alumni. Because of the complete training that they receive, Suburban graduates are in demand.In the past, Suburban Technical School has placed graduates in companies throughout Long Island and New York City. Graduate Service Representatives maintain contact with major corporations in the area as well as law firms, professional offices, government agencies and retail establishments. During your class sessions and in a private interview, a graduate services representative will meet with you to discuss your plans for the future, the kind of job you would like, and the type of position that fits your training.
Appointments will be made with prospective employers and resumes will be faxed to employers. Your Suburban Technical School career training will prepare you to handle your job search and interview with confidence. Classroom training will assist in resume preparation. Suburban Technical School makes refresher sessions available in courses previously taken, at no additional charge, when approved by the director. Graduates may audit classes or use the lab facilities and resource centers (subject to availability of space). Furthermore, graduates may return at any time for career consultations.
